Summit Industrial is proud to announce the successful completion of another major project, delivered in collaboration with Gray Construction for a confidential manufacturing client in the Southeast United States. This project represents another milestone in our continued support of large-scale industrial and advanced manufacturing developments.
Our scope included the full installation of the Central Utility Plant (CUP) systems, encompassing all piping and equipment for the for the Cooling Water, Chilled Water, and Clean Dry Air systems. In addition to installation, Summit Industrial led extensive delegated design efforts, front-end planning, and BIM coordination with other project partners to ensure seamless integration across all systems and trades.
The work included equipment setting, pipe fabrication and installation, hydrostatic testing, delegated design, and installation of pipe supports and seismic restraints, as well as commissioning support to bring the systems fully online.
This project required a high level of execution in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, constructability, and long-term system performance. Summit Industrial’s team delivered a clean, organized installation that supports efficient plant operations and meets the demanding standards of modern manufacturing facilities.
